Living Painting Kit

The kit for creating living paintings is composed of various elements that are inseparable from each other. They include a wooden frame, a plastic module, a metal slat with screws and watering tanks. It serves to place living plants on the wall in the interior and outside without the need to build an irrigation system.

Wooden frame - Made of high quality birch plywood treated with special oils. the external dimensions of the frame are 80/55/14 cm. Holes are built into the upper and lower chat of the frame, for placing a watering tank and a tank for excess water.

Plastic module – The plastic module is made entirely of recycled material, UV protected. Its dimensions are 50/25/12 cm. Each of the plant cages measures 12.5/10 cm and has its own water supply. Water flows through the entire module by gravity. The excess drains into a tank at the bottom.

Watering tanks - There are two metal water tanks in the set. The smaller one, with a capacity of about 1.5 l, is equipped with a drip generator and its place is in the upper part of the frame. The larger tank is attached to the lower part of the system and is for collecting the excess water under the plastic module.

Metal profile – serves to fix the entire structure to the wall. It is made of galvanized sheet metal with a thickness of 1.5 mm and is perforated along its entire length, which is 20 cm.

Installation steps:

Step 1: What's needed: Living painting kit, 10 plants, suitable soil.

Step 2: Place the plastic module in a flat position. Plant the plants in the holes of the module, being careful not to break the leaves.

Step 3: Seal any voids in the module cells with soil.

Step 4: The module is ready to be hung on the wall.

Step 5: Fix the metal profile to the wall using the screws from the kit. Good leveling is important for even irrigation.

Step 6: Hang the module on the rail.

Step 7: Place the frame on the unit, leaning the top against the wall first and then the bottom.

Step 8: Once the frame is resting against the wall, slide it down until it rests on the plastic assembly.

Step 9: Place the excess water tank under the plastic assembly at the bottom of the frame.

Step 10: Fix the watering can (the one with the watering hole) in the designated place at the top of the frame.

Step 11: Make sure the watering hole is at the front of the frame. Water it!
