Soil sliding, cars getting stuck, gravel scattering?

A geocell spreads the load over the whole area instead of a single point - that is why it solves problems that fill or concrete alone cannot.

Slope sliding and erosion

Rain washes the soil away, the slope breaks down, grass will not take root.

A geocell is a structure of HDPE strips welded in a staggered pattern. It is delivered folded, expanded on site like an accordion, anchored and filled with soil, gravel, sand or concrete.

How it is installed

Prepare the baseThe ground is leveled and, if needed, geotextile is laid for drainage and layer separation.

Expand the gridThe section is stretched to its working position and aligned along the plot.

Fix with anchorsAnchors keep the grid expanded while it is being filled, and on slopes - afterwards too.

Fill and compactThe cells are filled with the chosen material and compacted.

What customers ask before ordering

What geocell height do I need?

It depends on the load and the slope. For paths and lawns 5 cm is usually enough, for yards and car parking - 7.5 cm, for slopes and loaded areas - 10 cm, and for steep embankments, riverbanks and road foundations - 20 cm. If you are not sure, describe your site in the form and we will recommend one for free.

What are the cells filled with?

Soil (if you want grass), crushed stone, gravel, sand or concrete. The choice depends on whether the area should be green, let water through or carry a heavy load.

How many square meters is one section?

Sections with a height of 5 and 7.5 cm are 3.18 × 10.9 m (34.6 m²), and those with a height of 10 and 20 cm are 2.76 × 8.55 m (23.6 m²). The price is per square meter, so you only pay for the area you need.

Do I need geotextile under the geocell?

In most cases - yes. Geotextile provides drainage and keeps the fill material from mixing with the soil below. We can include it in the quote.

Do you do site visits and installation?

Yes. The site visit is free and installation is done by our team. You can also order just the material if you will install it yourself.

How is the price calculated?

Geocells are sold per square meter. For quantities over 100 m² the price per square meter is lower. The quote shows material, anchors, geotextile, delivery and installation separately.

How long do geocells last?

They are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), resistant to UV rays, chemicals and corrosion. They work from −60°C to +60°C and last over 50 years in soil.
