Double Bending Machines – BS Series

What are the BS Series machines?

The BS Series from GMS are mechanical double rebar bending machines designed for high-volume, fast, and precise work directly on-site or in rebar workshops. Thanks to the combination of mechanical transmission and electrical automation, they perform two bends (left/right) in a single work cycle and cover the most commonly used shapes – stirrups, angles, hooks. This speeds up the work process and ensures repeatable angles.

Working principle and control

Angles are set quickly using locking pins or, in the BSD (digital) version, through a digital control panel that allows programming of multiple angles and sequences. The machines can rotate left and right, have an option for adjustable speed, and support both automatic and manual modes for precise adjustment depending on the task.

Applications

The BS Series double bending machines are suitable for infrastructure and civil projects, rebar workshops, and industrial production where fast series bending with stable accuracy and repeatability is required. They are optimal for stirrups, L- and U-shaped elements, hooks, and complex parts with multi-step bends.

Always check the specific capacity according to steel strength (45/65/85 kg/mm²) in the manufacturer’s table.

Safety and best practices

The work must be carried out by trained personnel; power supply must be switched off during setup, maintenance, and lubrication. Follow the manual’s instructions and specifications for maximum diameter/number of bars according to steel strength.
