A galvanized column is a metal pole or vertical element that has a protective zinc coating. PVC coated fence posts are manufactured after the hot dip galvanized posts with a plate underneath are hot dip coated in a variety of colours / RAL catalogue colours /. The coating on the galvanized stakes protects them from the harmful atmospheric conditions of the environment, improves the aesthetic appearance. Besides the excellent appearance, it is appropriate to use PVC columns in the presence of high humidity or near the seashore. The most commonly preferred coating colours are green /RAL 6005/ and grey /RAL 9006/. The columns are easy to install as they have a heel with slotted holes for direct anchoring to a concrete base. In case there is no foundation, the coated columns are extended by at least 30cm and reinforcing irons are welded to them in the form of "whiskers" for direct concreting into a hole in the ground.

The cross-section of the columns can be round, square, rectangular, this is chosen according to the type of fencing system preferred. For a fence panel system, posts of 50x50mm are used, to which the panel is easily mounted using metal or plastic brackets. When choosing a wicker or ectro-welded roll fencing system, it is more appropriate to use f48 tubular pylons as it is easier to stretch the fence along them. The stretched fence is attached to the columns using galvanised PVC wire.
