Aluminium L-profile (angle) 80x20x2

The aluminium L-profile (angle) 80x20x2 is an unequal-leg angle with 80 mm and 20 mm legs and a 2.0 mm wall thickness, extruded from a 6000-series aluminium alloy. The long leg carries the load and covers a wider surface while the short leg is used for fixing, which makes this profile a common choice for trims, guides and edge reinforcement. The standard length is 6000 mm (6 linear metres) and the price shown is for one 6 m bar.

Why an unequal angle

• The wider leg covers and stiffens a larger area at the same profile weight.
• The asymmetric section allows concealed fixing — the short leg is screwed down while the long leg stays visible as a trim.
