Ex Tax: 4.56 лв. (2.33€)
Fiberglass anchor Ø8 mm, 80 cm long. The longer version of our most popular diameter — used where 60 cm does not hold well enough: on steeper slopes, in loose or backfilled soil and under thicker infill over the geocell.
What it is used for
Fixing geocells, geogrids and geonets to the subgrade. The anchor is driven through the cell and holds it in place until the fill is compacted and vegetation takes root. It is also used for stabilising riverbanks, ditches and roadside embankments.
Why fiberglass instead of steel
- Does not rust — stays in the ground for decades without deteriorating
- Non-conductive and non-magnetic — safe near cable routes
- Resistant to salts and dilute acids — important along roads that are gritted in winter
- About four times lighter than a steel anchor of the same length — easier to carry and distribute along the slope
- Ribbed surface — grips the soil and does not pull out easily
