Gabion planter – decoration and function in one

A gabion planter is a metal basket that lets you quickly create a flower bed, a raised garden or a feature in your yard. Fill it with stone for a decorative effect, or line it with geotextile and plant flowers, shrubs or herbs. Over time the stone and plants blend into the surrounding landscape.

Technical specifications

Where to use it

• Flower beds and raised gardens
• Around trees and shrubs
• Seating areas, terraces and paths
• Dividing zones in the yard
• Entrances of houses, restaurants and offices

Advantages

• Galvanized steel resists corrosion for many years
• A natural look that does not age
• Maintenance-free
• Combines with other gabions – fences, benches and retaining walls

What to fill it with

Crushed or river stone, decorative stones, logs and glass all work well. The stone must be larger than the mesh openings so that it does not fall through. You will also find gabion fill in our store.
