Aluminium box profile 80x80x2.0

The aluminium box profile 80×80×2.0 mm is a square hollow section with a closed 80×80 mm cross-section and a 2.0 mm wall thickness. It is supplied in 6 m bars and weighs approximately 1.68 kg per metre, or about 10.11 kg per bar.

The large section provides high bending stiffness, making it suitable for load-bearing frames, canopies, pergolas and industrial equipment where steel would be heavy or need constant corrosion protection.

Technical specifications

Weights are calculated with a density of 2.70 g/cm³ and sharp corners; the actual weight may differ slightly depending on the alloy and corner radii.
