Professional Application and Advantages
Smart Metal Group presents a high-quality hot bituminous adhesive designed for sealing horizontal joints and cracks in roads, bridges, and runways. The product ensures a powerful bond between old and new asphalt, concrete, and metal components.
Application Instructions:
- Preparation: Joints must be dry and free of dust. Priming is recommended 1-2 hours before filling.
- Heating: Liquefy via indirect heating at 180°C. Avoid overheating above 220°C.
- Technology: Suitable for Pour & Roll methods (pouring) or torch-on membrane application.
- Consumption: 2.0-3.0 kg/sq.m. per layer or ~336 g per linear meter (for 2x1.4 cm joints).
Key Properties
Elasticity: Allows joint movement of over 20% with excellent elastic recovery. Resistance: Resistant to detergents, diluted acids, and alkaline solutions. Durability: Does not shrink during application and is practically resistant to aging.
