What is galvanized screed mesh?
The screed mesh is available in the form of electro-welded
grids with dimensions of 1x2m, produced from different thicknesses of the wire.
The nets are deep galvanized to prevent metal corrosion.
Purpose of screed mesh
Galvanized mesh is widely used to reinforce various types of
screeds, linings, be it wall or floor, internal or external. The nets have a
good application when building a protective layer on roof insulations. The
protective screed is a very important component of the construction of flat
roofs as it prevents the thermal insulation and vapor barrier underneath from
being compromised. After laying the screed, the floor is already leveled and it
is easy to lay the waterproofing on top or the appropriate other type of
coating. Due to their good zinc coating, as a result of which the nets do not
catch rust, they can be used for all kinds of decorative purposes.
