How woven gabions are made?
Woven gabions are reliable reinforcing structures made from double-twisted galvanized wire with a thickness of Ф3.00 mm. They feature the hexagonal mesh opening, known as the "gabion eye", with dimensions of 80x100 mm. Due to their "woven" construction, they are flexible and adapt to uneven surfaces both below and above them. These gabions are suitable for various reinforcing activities and construction projects. The cells of the woven gabions are closed (tied) using galvanized wire or galvanized clips and are filled with rock aggregate. The mesh serves a retaining role, preventing the displacement of rock pieces and providing stability even under heavy loads.
